ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Zach and I have officially been full-time RVers for one entire year. So hard to believe. When we first talked about hitting the road our goal was one year to make it worthwhile; now that we’ve made it to one year we have zero plans to stop. I couldn’t pick one city to call home right now anyway (and luckily I don’t have to). So what has the last year looked like? We traveled as far east as Maine and as far west as Washington. We put 23,481 miles on the truck. Gas was as expensive as $3.29 a gallon and as low as $1.99. We had months with parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins that we otherwise wouldn’t have had + visited old friends and made some new. We slept in 22 states but have driven through many more. And we’ve visited breakfast joints and sandwich shops all along our route, my favorite still being Goodies in CT.
And look! I spent the evening roughly planning a route through the end of 2017. Dreamy.
